And for a very good reason!
For the first time in months, I went running. But running simply wasn't enough. First I did 25 push ups and sit upts, then 25 pushups while lifting 10 lb weights every 'up', then 50 more sit ups while curling 20 lb weights and doing bycicles with my legs the whole time while sitting up. Then did some standing stretches and back to the 10 lb weights while I shadow boxed for 10 minutes with weights in hand, then ran in place with the 20 lbs. Mind you, this was with 2 lit candles and my heater on full blast facing directly at me... Maybe I overdid it, but my tummy is starting to come out of its place and it's time i smack it back where it belongs. So with all the weight and resistance warm up done in about an hour, I got some pants and a jacket and went for a run. Did a straight sprint for 3/4 of a mile without stopping or slowing, and now I am coughing and huffing and puffing and shaking all over, and loving every minute of it! I know I'll be sore tomorrow, but it's ok, I'm gonna get this bad boy back and 3 times better than shown here by the end of spring even if it takes more of these ridiculous 10:30 pm workouts. (I'm basically going to extend hellweek into 3 months and try to pace it, minus 'the wall')
^this was me...2 years ago before i got a car and a job that required no work at all.
